And it’s not surprising. Coupe Hyundai, removed from production more than 5 years ago, seems to be the product of another concern, on which a Korean nameplate was accidentally hung.
The car, also sold under the name Tuscani in South Korea and Tiburon in the US, was produced from 1996 to 2008. During this time, two generations have changed, undergone several restyling in turn.
In our budget falls the last restyling. All the best that the Koreans could come up with before removing the Coupe from production and replacing the model with a Genesis Coupe novelty, which only the number of doors with its predecessor.

This all with “mechanics”, by the way. Because, having bought such a machine with an “automatic” you will completely forget about the dynamics. Reliability of Koreans is a relative term. In general, the Coupe can not be called “crowbar”, but it can not boast of an outstanding reliability. The situation is replaced by the interchangeability of some parts with Elantra, a fairly common model in the US. The choice of used Coupe is quite large, many cars had only one owner – often, it was a girl, – a small run, so are in decent condition. It’s a good choice. Here, a rigid suspension with “driver” settings – hard and biting. Such a car will be an excellent school for those who want to learn dynamic driving.
Eclipse Mitsubishi is larger than Celica, there are more places in it, landing in front is very convenient. In the long road there are chances to maintain normal circulation in the legs. But passengers at the rear during a long trip will not be sweet. However, this applies to most of the coupe on the market, so it’s a sin to complain.
A huge plus model – the availability in specialized stores of a large number of tuning kits, both internal – the engine and suspension – and external. You can choose a “body kit” to taste and turn an already rare and attention-grabbing car into a real “unique”. Good car. She has exactly two drawbacks. Firstly, there are few such cars in the US – they were not officially sold here, and therefore the choice is not large. With well-maintained copies, the owners parted reluctantly.
